The hash tables in Gandalf are weird. I found for all time controls the best hash setting for it under Winboard was 104megs. That is where it was the best. If your playing really quick games like 1 0 drop it to 56megs and all is fine. Anything more and it is just to slow. I think it is a bug in the program myself.
