Does the most recent Fritz 7 upgrade show any changes in the engine file size or version number? The engine version that came with my Fritz 7 CD is 7,0,0,2. After the upgrade, the version still reads the same. After upgrading Fritz 6 in the Fritz 6 interface with the most recent Fritz6e upgrade, the engine version and file size changed, but not so with Fritz 7. With the Fritz 7 program, the Fritz 7 folder changes in size but not the Fritz 7 engine file. I just have not noticed any change in playing strength with Fritz 7 after the most recent Playchess upgrade. Please shed some lite on this matter. Thank you.
