to subscribe, "finger jpcrafty" on ICC... to get instructions on what to
do

it serves several purposes.  People report bugs/problems there and they get
to me immediately.  As do requests for information or whatever...

it is related only to Crafty, so there's no unrelated stuff, if Crafty is all
you are interested in.  The newsgroup and CCC are much more "general" in nature
with mostly non-crafty topics...
