Why do you think it "will be" as strong as the US$?

I wish all the countries well that have joined the Euro but I do have some
serious doubts about it viability.  This forum is probably not the place to
expouse my views (I have done so in a thread in CTF a couple of weeks ago) but
you may be interested in a section of my website that addresses some of the
issues:

It's written from a UK perspective but you can replace 'UK' with 'France',
'Germany' or any other Eurozone country.
