I remember the days of the C64 when a German programmer announced that he had found a way to kill the CPU by use of pure software (of course that was utter bull) and wanted to use that as part of his copy protection. This sparked a long discussion about moral and legal issues involved. Anyway, bottom line is, with a function like that in place, you could not legally sell your product in most countries (and it wouldn't be wise anyway, just imagine the truckloads of people suing you with a formatted hard disk as proof...:). --- Shep
