Gromit 3.9.5 and 3.10.2 (the version used in PocketGrandmaster) are stronger than the 3.8.2, a rough estimate is 50 Elo. Gromit 3.10.2 currently plays very well at the FSV Round Robin Tournament, see http://www.fsv.de/chess-server/Tournaments/tournamentsection.htm Frank > In the last BfF (Best for Fritz) - list published in German CSS >(Computer-Schach und Spiele) it had a rating of 2450 (Goliath Light 1.5 had >2460, yace 0.99.050 2465) so you know that is really worth using this nice >engine.
