Some boards are only available in the Kids room. The "Layout" that you are saving applies to ALL rooms, meaning that it saves the current settings for ALL rooms in one file. You can't save the layout for one room and then load that layout into another room, mostly because many settings only apply to a particular room. The Chessmaster FAQ (www.chessmaster.com/faqs8000.html) explains this a bit better than I just have.... jm
