Subject: ICCT4, keeping connection open

My provider regularly closes the connection whemn acticity is low. Are there any
tricks to keep it open? When it's very bad I sometimes use the ping -t command
for a while, but I don't know if that is annoying ICC. And it seems to cost some
performance.
