I guarantee if someone else stated what Vincent did, in a less abrasive way, the thread would have carried on as normally as any. I agree with Mr. Moreland on this. While Vincent could have presented things in a less "confrontational" manner, he still brought up a valid topic/issue of discussion here. What Ed and Uri are proposing is simple over-moderation. The folks that read threads here should be given the opportunity to draw their own conclusions from topics. I highly doubt that anyone reading these threads views them as gospel from the Great Computer Chess God. Simply being fans of Chess and Computer Chess should suggest analytical minds -- not gullible morons. (Well, most of the time anyway...) -elc.
