Maybe it's a conditioning thing. :) > >-Tom Well, it's a well known fact that if your eyes don't get to "stretch" once in a while, that is, looking very "far" (open landscapes, horizons etc.), you have a much higher probability to become nearsighted. People in the cities are more vulnerable to this than people that live out in the country. People who look very short most of the time (that is, into the screen of a computer), often become nearsighted. /David
