It might be in the interface between the engine and the front-end, if it is not carefully done, because I have an "enpassant target" that must be set if the game is not played normally, move by move... 120K sounds about right... I normally do about 80K on the P6/200, although 15.X is going somewhat slower as I've modified quite a bit of code over the past few months...
