Thanks Joathan for the helpful ideas. I have not tried Excalibur electronics in Florida. How do I contact them? What do they do (sell parts, make repairs)? I've tried Radio Shack's online store and found no reference of the 6502, but I did find 4mhz crystals. I will try clocking the cpu down to it's rated speed as a first attempt. I have found a parts supplier (possibly two) that carry almost all the chips on the original circuit board, but they require large orders. For everyone's info they are www.summitelectronics.com and www.partminer.com. Partminer has all kinds of techical data about the chips that I found very useful, but they require a $250 minimum order which I thought was a bit steep for a $2 chip. Summit actually had the 1mhz version in stock, but wanted $26.75 a piece and required you to buy a minimum of three + $15 for shipping and again it is too expensive even if they had the 4mhz version I needed. Again, thanks very much for the assistance, and I hope my info will be equally helpful to those collectors out there. Mike
