Subject: Engines including source code

Is there a website or list or engines that include source code? I'd also like to
have some kind of idea about where these engines rank along the simplistic -
complex spectrum. If I saw the Fritz source code I probably wouldn't have a clue
what half of it did, and engine's including their own GUI would also add
elements of confusion. I liked TSCP. It was very basic and straight forward.
Very easy to look at and learn from.
