It would WANT to have gained more knowledge LOL. I remember I could often hold down Fritz 5 to a fairly even endgame (and I am a very weak player). I just took David Levy's advice and did nothing. And it would do nothing in return. Not so with Fritz 7 and even Fritz 6. It seems at last that Frans is starting to program the engine in a similar vein to his dedicated programs, which imo show exceedingly good knowledge and positional play.
