Funny, this position was posted at CCC last year. Either during the summer or springtime. This position has been altered for a tactical/mate, problem set. I don't remember the name of the test suite it came from. For those who are interested, I'll give the _actual_ position and where it can be found. I posted it last year, but since it has been forgotten I'll post it again. I found this position in 1989 in CFC (Chess Federation of Canada) magazine which is named En Passant, Dec. 89 issue #99, article, What is the C.M.A. (Check Mating Attack) by NM and FIDE Master Gordon Taylor former editor of En Passant. He gave reference to the source. P.F. Schmidt vs P.R. Schmidt, Heidelberg 1946. It can be found in the Oxford Companion to Chess, p. 291.
