Note: These are just general rules of thumb for getting FEN to work in any
application that purports to support FEN. For instance, here at CCC, I think
(?)that the "- -" can be left off entirely. Another example of what extraneous
spaces can do: the extra spaces before the w and the rest of the FEN will be
rejected at ICC. What happens here, I haven't tried yet.
