When Shredder was being tested, did the author(s) witness this >sort of result but decide to release it anyway? I still do not [and can't] believe that Shredder6 should be that weak. But someone argued that Shredder6 should run under its own GUI and with ponder=on to demonstrate full [best] strength. I don't see the point because Shredder6 has been realeased by ChessBase with its own Shredder6-CB-GUI. But time will tell... Kurt
