The P4 is arguably the most advanced processor at this moment. But it's not faster than XP 2000+. They both overclock. But the P4 overclocks better. The voltages used to make it go really fast will without doubt damage the processor irreparably. Cooling or no cooling. I suspect overclocking will only be possible for a short while.
