So to set this straight:

You think what Christian says is "evidence". Just because

- he is editor of CSS
- CSS is on good terms with Chessbase.

Therefore all Christian says or writes is already sufficient proof of where
things are going?

All CL said is that presumably starting with F8 Chessbase might stop supporting
the WB-protocol. In my opinion, Christian's lines can only be taken as an
assumption. I strongly doubt if Chessbase themself already know in detail by now
what features F8 will contain and what will be left out next time around. Who
nows what will be the next big thing when Fritz 8 is due for release? Maybe UCI
will be succeeded by something completely new by then. Can you tell the future?
Why do you think Christian can do?

Andreas
