Hi Russell, Are you thinking of the -S option supported by some compilers (including both gcc and msvc I think??). Possibly together with some other options (can't remember), you can use the -S option to generate an "assembly listing" file that has the source lines inserted right above the corresponding assembly code. hope this helps, wylie
