I am not sure about Fritz. old versions clearly did it. Deep Fritz does not do it often but still does it. I dislike preprocessors because of the fact that I cannot build a tree with the program and compare the evaluations of the leaves when I analyze and I think that it is going to be better if the program at least give me an option when I analyze to use the same pre-evaluation based on the same root position.
