 Hi James:
Dual booting is easy to do, I did it on my comp. Windows 2000 made it easy to
partition my hard drive, so I assume it would be easy to use windows xp to
partition your harddrive. The only catch is you have to install windows 98
first, then install windows xp to the separate partition. (I think if you do it
the other way around it will mess up the boot section). Also, when you install
windows xp, you might want to use fat32 (I prefer greatly NTFS though). You have
to use fat32 with windows 98. If you make the xp partition fat32 also, you would
be able to read the drive while in windows 98. Otherwise that partition won't be
readable.

Matt

P.S. I no longer dual boot. I found windows 2000 pro to be so much more stable,
I just decided to get rid of 98. I still keep separate partitions though incase
I need to reinstall the OS. By having the separate partition I can keep
important files, chess games, etc. on it without fear of having to "wipe" it
incase of a problem with my OS.
