Interesting. I think the program here is assuming all draws are the same. Any human would just assume that 2 connected passers versus a bishop is worth going into. Even though it's a draw too, it's a "better draw" than bishop + rp vs nothing. Has anyone toyed with algorithms that try to maximize the potential for the other player to go wrong? dave
