I started this thread not as a moderator, but as a member who wants to make sure that this club stays on an even keel permanently, which to me means that it becomes a place that a) everyone can enjoy, and b) people can write posts without having to take into account the politics of the moderators. So in part you are right. I do want standards to form, and I want them to form publicly, and I want them to be so good that everyone who isn't incorrigible can agree with them, so that there will be a group attitude about how this place should run, so future decisions like this will be easy, obviously correct, and rare. But a lof ot effort was spent yesterday on making sure we didn't delete a post that shouldn't be deleted, and very little of it was spent by me, so please don't assume that I'm the one preventing bad things from happening here. bruce
