The new Fritz 7 engine was in the Fritz 7 folder as mentioned I'll have to try and download the upgrade again and see if there is a change. In the HELP ABOUT FRITZ 7 OPTION IT STILL READS NOVEMBER 22 That probably explains why it still keeps prompting me for the upgrade. Thank you I appreciate the help. Brian
