It seems to me that Shredder 6, Hiarcs 7.32, and Gandalf 5 are very, very close in strength. Nimzo 8 does appear to be somewhat weaker. (Of course, Chess Tiger 14 [& GT2] and Fritz 7 are clearly stronger, according to most results, and Junior 7 seems to be weaker than F7 but stronger than the programs mentioned in the subject.) Next question: is any of the four programs in the subject stronger than Fritz 6? Than Junior 6?
