The issue is with the fact that the program is still running. When you launch the program and get the Play fritz and playchess server screen, this window must be closed during the upgrade. So select playchess server and login. Accept the download and when it is finished and you get the upgrade now box, DO NOT click upgrade now. First, close the box behind (play fritz / playchess server). Now press upgrade now. This worked for me. Hope it helps. Mike. P.S. You can probably also run the IUpgrade.exe with the program closed too, but I didn't test that.
