my dual mp1533 amd and 1 gig ram, ddr registered, has no problems. runs cool. seems to be fast enough. runs all the smp programs with no issues. ecc off there is a good benchtest that just came out with the asus vs tyan dual amd. it seems they are about the same in most of the tests. this all fits in the atx case, with standard atx power supply. i use the 460 watt enermax. i think if you want you can run two sticks of 256 ddr memory non-registered. this is cheaper if you already have the ram.
