Do I start each engine separately and then sit back and watch? Just start the WinBoard Startup dialogue. Enable "Play against a chess engine or...", type the engine name (without .exe) and path, ie. Comet /fd=Path You can make the selection more automatic by preconfiguring the engines in the file called WinBoard.ini (An example: http://www.winboardengines.de/download/config.zip). After selecting/typing two engines, you're ready to go. If you want the two engines to play more than one game; enable "Additional options", type /mg 4 (four games with automatic switching of colours) and click on "OK". If you just select two engines and click "OK", the games must be started manually by selecting "Mode/Two machines".
