The author of the program, Christophe Theron, has posted in this forum that he has a unique way of testing each modification to his program to determine whether that change is for the better or not. That's a key part of it, I'm sure. He also has specific techniques in the programming that he will not (of course) share with the world. And finally, his devoting huge amounts of time and effort to the task have surely been crucial. Looking forward to Chess Tiger 15!
