Hi, not possible with WB protocol I and II after my information. Please, it's better if you have questions to asked in my Forum. If we start this Beta Test I can not looked for questions in all computer chess fora. This is the reason for start this beta test in one forum. But an interesting question. Shredder is working under Arena so far without opening book. Engine Shredder used a GUI Shredder option for use his opening book. Also the SOS version from WM Packet 2001. The Arena SOS version have an own opening book. This book works fine under Arena with UCI SOS. All other engines can used his opening book without GUI option (book on or off). In my bad English ... Best Frank So far they are not options in Arena to used set a opening book via GUI compare to the Engine Shredder in GUI Shredder. Maybe it comes later ...
