It seems that my Fritz 7 is not learning from its played games. Pressing f4 and setting the minimum games to 1, then playing a number of times anything - for instance an opening that was never played - should make the values of that move change according to the result of the games. But it seems in my case such games are not being compiled into the book. Yet if I run the "learn from database" function on the autosaved games database (where the same games were saved) the new computation of values is updated. Is that a glitch or am I failing to see some obvious thing? Thanks Karen
