Results games round 33:
- TheKing312X vs ChessTiger14 = 1/2
- Junior7 vs Shredder6 = 0-1
- Frit7002 vs Hiarcs732 = 1-0
An exciting fight lead to an ending with rook/knight and pawns on the kingside.
In this situation the pawn plus of ChessTiger14 was not sufficient for a win.
Shredder6 proved to be stronger than Junior7 in positionally maneouvring and
eventually won a pawn. The single-cpu chess computer world champion went on to
continuously strengthen his position, conquered a second pawn and had easy play
to get his first victory against the Isreali program.
Fritz7002 with the white pieces had not its best day and so it was Hiarcs732 to
get the advantage. I had already adjusted to a victory of Hiarcs732 against the
tournament leader, when Fritz7002 set to a counter attack and completely could
turn the game.
