Withdrawals of moves are not allowed. I admit that it's a pity when it's the interface which produced the wrong move. I remember a game played on a wmcc by ChessTal, where the engine had produced the winning move (promotion to queen) but the GUI had chosen a knight instead. Same thing. I think there is no other chance than considering the engine and its complete sw/hw environment which is necessary to produce the move on ther server as one unit. Otherwise, we could think of a lot of cases, where decisions will become extremely difficult. Anyway, no doubt that you are a real sportsman, Gerd ! Uli
