In connection to Crafty being a part of SPECINT: Eugene said before
that Crafty couldn't take advantage of the Itaniums PopCnt-instruction
(IIRC).

Will "someone" eventually look at this? I would expect that someone
who is interested enough seeing the possible speedup would contribute
to Crafty's source.

Maybe it won't make much of a difference...
