Looking at the results table of CCT4, it is making me wonder if a good
programmer can write a quality chess program good enough to compete with
commercial engines like Fritz and Junior within a timeframe of 2 yrs. Given that
Thomas Mayer started work on this program in 2000, and I presume he did this in
his spare time, it is quite a credible achievement to be right up there with the
top programs at no. 3.

Also, what are the time controls for the tournament?
