Hello,I need some help here. While playing Fritz7 the lastest shutdown that
occurred said:Program exception:Access Violation 004832AA.This is the first time
this Window/Message came up.I have downloaded the lastest Version of Fritz 7
dated Jan 22 2002.Before the download,Fritz and serval of My other Programs had
shutdown with a different message saying:Program error ChessProgram7.e,(if I was
using Fritz), has generated errors and will be shutdown You need to restart
Program AN error log is being created. It displayed the same message when I was
using Rebel, however it used ChessTiger. This has been happening on serval
different P/Cs with Windows 98 SE and Windows 2000 Professional as Operating
Systems.I have noticed this shutdown happening while Playing against another
Program, usally in an intense Game.I've asked for help here before and some kind
Person said to check the Ram Modules, check the default settings in Bios, and
re-install Windows.I have done none of these yet because I'm sure how to do
these steps.I do know to re-install Windows but would I really need to since
I've downloaded the lastest version,(Windows 2000 Professional), of It also.I
have another piece of imformation to add,I took note that when a shutdown
accured with the second Message(Program generated errors/shutdown/restart),after
restarting the Program the Game that I was in was completley gone. However, when
the shutdown happened with the first message(Program exception/Access
Violation00483AA,after I clicked ok on the Window and restarted the Program ,the
Game was still there and I was able to finish It. Please tell ME whats happening
here, and tell Me how to check all the possibilites.Thank You and I am awaiting
Your reply,>>>>Mike
