van Wely has an exceptional record on Hoogovens/Corus indeed :)

He also managed some good results. But he should work harder on getting balanced
results; there should be a basis if your good play leaves you, in that case the
basis should help you keep up, and have a basic level for staying at least in
the middle of a stronger field..

And he should live up to an around 2700 level in the future indeed. Now he sure
will lose some points.

But it's always a good excuse for bad performance anywhere: women. ;)
