All I am saying is that if I had no other data, I would use the data to hand as the basis of my decision,even in the face of uncertainty - and even though I recognised that uncertainty and even though I recognised I might be wrong. (So, if A beat B I would chose A even though it could be merely the result of randomness. But I would not be claiming A was better than B excpet within a given probability determined by the size of the data set to hand.)
