Hi Will If someone can show me how to interface winboard or xboard with my Basic program I will do it in a second. I lost one game because of human error, mine. Besides, you lose time by entering moves by hand also. I would like to keep those extra 10 seconds for playing ie (40 moves = 400 secs). I will keep developing my basic chess program, but I am going to learn how to do it in "C" , hopefully for the next big tournement. Thanks to you and all of the others for the games. Bill
