The question that is often asked by most of us. Which one is the best crafty? Differant people has differant opinions, maybe it's time that we put words into action. ;) The match-up is far from over, set of 2 rounds will be played, each program will play each other twice (812 games), as a result 56 games will be played by each version. (~~~Background music~~~) Consider this as an early warninig. ;) enjoy, pavs ps, thanks to Chessfun (Sarah) for providing me with all the CB Crafty version she had, Mr. Chessbase, seemed to remove them from his webpage. ----------------------------------------------------------------- crafty-1 home 2002 1 Crafty 18.13 2500 +353 7.0/8 2 Crafty 18.01 2500 +235 5.5/7 3 Crafty 18.04 2500 +92 5.0/8 19.25 4 Crafty 17.01 2500 +92 5.0/8 19.25 5 Crafty 18.08 2500 +92 5.0/8 18.75 6 Crafty 17.06 2500 +92 5.0/8 16.75 7 Crafty 18.12 2500 +92 5.0/8 15.25 8 Crafty 18.10 2500 +92 5.0/8 14.75 9 Crafty 16.5 2500 +45 4.5/8 16.50 10 Crafty 16.13 2500 +45 4.5/8 15.75 11 Crafty 16.6 2500 +45 4.5/8 15.75 12 Crafty 16.11 2500 +52 4.0/7 18.00 13 Crafty 17.02 2500 0 4.0/8 14.50 14 Crafty 17.13 2500 +52 4.0/7 11.25 15 Crafty 14.12 2500 +52 4.0/7 11.00 16 Crafty 18.03 2500 -45 3.5/8 15.50 17 Crafty 18.02 2500 -45 3.5/8 11.50 18 Crafty 18.11 2500 -45 3.5/8 10.25 19 Crafty 18.06 2500 -45 3.5/8 10.25 20 Crafty 16.04 2500 0 3.0/6 11.50 21 Crafty 17.04 2500 -92 3.0/8 10.25 22 Crafty 16.03 2500 0 3.0/6 9.75 23 Crafty 15.20 2500 -106 2.5/7 9.25 24 Crafty 16.15 2500 -143 2.5/8 8.00 25 Crafty 17.14 2500 -106 2.5/7 7.50 26 Crafty 16.18 2500 -199 2.0/8 9.25 27 Crafty 17.11 2500 -166 2.0/7 8.00 28 Crafty 18.07 2500 -199 2.0/8 6.25 29 Crafty 16.1 2500 -235 1.5/7 Average elo: 2500 <=> Category: 10 gm = 37.52 m = 26.32 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Pentium III 1ghz (single) Chessbase GUI (Junior6) Hash= 50mb Book= 2600.pgn Time = 5min/side Ponder = off! no TB.
