Yep, but on the other hand, evaluation is allways applied to horizon nodes, so search can't take care of what is happening after that node. So even with superior hardware there should allways be need for this kind of evaluation. Totally different question is that is it really bad if the knight is in the corner? Maybe we gain additional ply without that knowledge and maybe a pawn with it. Severi
