Although this has really not much to do with Computer Chess (except that I am
using an AMD CPU for computer chess), here are my two cents:

AMD
---
Last 12 Months: Sales 3.9 Bil and Income -60.6 Mil
5 yr growth:    17.4%

Intel
-----
Last 12 Months: Sales 26.5 Bil and Income 1.3 Bil
5 yr growth:    6.5%


The size is not too relevant. Income and growth matter. AMD's -60.6 Mil for the
last 12 months are very dangerous for this company. Did you buy AMD stock?
