Last week I received a phone call from a customer, he wanted me to upgrade his
Computer. First he told me that he waited a little because he originally paid
$3,500; but didn't tell me when he bought it. I was thinking that it was at
least a 300 Mhz. When he brought me his P.C. I simply stared at him for about
2 minutes and he asked me is there something wrong with his P.C. I politely told
him that it would be more economical to buy an entry level P.C for about $500.00
than having to replace every parts of his soon to become a collection item. He
brought me an original Pentium 66 Mhz. Well the customer was satisfied that he
could get an AMD 1 Ghz with 128 MB SDRAM and a decent 20GB HD for only $500.00.
Now that I came across this post, I have to tell you Mr. Conte NOT to feel too
bad, since at least your P.C. can run circles around my Ex-customer's Previous
pride and joy.
