I tried a search (from CD, ChessBase Mega database '98 in both CBH and CA3
format) on

player: Kasparov
result: 1-0
position include: wKc1

results were:

CB7 90"
CB6 300"
CA3.02 120"

It doesn't seem that CA is faster anymore ...

The CA GUI is much better in some places (e.g. search dialog, window management,
dataset concept)

Reports on CB 7 vs. CA3 are expected within the next weeks on Computer Chess
Reports. Feel free to ask questions *here*, on CCC.

I'm working on it and I bet so are many others ... But CB 7 is farily complex
...
