can limit undo to selected area can show/hide whole functions , can hide #ifdef out areas automatic alignment of code *without changing the syntax!!* different colors, text styles automated setting of jump-points (i.e. when I hit page up it jumps to the last line I edited) automatic case warning and checking of variable names different color for var names already in use ... all of the above should be possible and would be real helpfull. I know that some editors can do some of the above, but havn't seen any that can do most. Georg
