This is true, but testing Fritz_7 engine version 7.0.0.6 date Jan 7 2002 against DeepFritz engine in a single processor machine permanent-brainy engine match, it seems that Fritz is stronger. I say "it seems" because my testing was not a rigorous procedure. But in my näivety, sneaking around more than 1,000 blitzgames played, I just "feel" that the only serious opponet to Fritz 7 is Tiger 14.0. But in the long run even against Tiger, Blitz 3/0, Fritz 7 is still winning. I wonder this comparation is not invalid because both of the engines are running in a single processor machine.
