No.  I have a DVD/CD burner now, but I have yet to get the DVD burner to work
correctly under linux.  I bought it specifically to backup the 6 man tables so
that we have a reliable backup.  I have dumped them to tape on occasion, but I
am not particularly impressed with the lifetime/reliability of mag tape, after
a few bad file losses elsewhere...
