But without anything to >test again we are back to angels dancing on the head of a pin. maybe there is no way to tell for sure , or is there?? true deep blue is gone for good , but kasparov is still more or less kasparov i mean he is still atop the rating list .if he were to play a top rated program in a serious match like he did vs deep blue then we would have a measuring stick of sorts .as far as that goes kramnik was going to play a top rated program i heard . if so that might give some indication as to how close to deep blue todays pc's are .
