"the main reason for Ponomariov’s sudden success this year is nothing other than
the time control." - Garry Kasparov

If GM Kasparov is correct we have a *weak* but steady player that can handle the
new time control as Fide Wolrd Champion. I was wondering how much the new Fide
time control would help Computer chess programs when playing strong humans
versus the old standard of 40 moves in 2 hours? If the new time controls becomes
standard for all chess games and matches between computers and humans.
